November Newsletter 2020

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” (Psalm 46:1)

Our November Newsletter is available to read here.

While the ongoing restrictions mean that it is not yet possible for many prisons to restart services and other activities, we give thanks that we have recently been able to recommence small Bible study groups in some prisons and for encouraging times spent around God’s Word.

The majority of prisoners are still spending over twenty three hours a day in their cells and this is a real problem for those who struggle with mental health issues, leading to rising incidences of self-harm and violence. Please pray that wisdom will be given to staff in dealing with these situations.

Many are still requesting things to read to fill the time, so please pray that as weekly written messages, booklets, study courses and other literature are given out, these will be used to speak to both prisoners and staff.

Thank you for your continued prayerful support.
