“For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. For God, who said, ‘Let light shine out of darkness’, has made His light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.”
(2 Corinthians 4:5 & 6)
Each year there is a national Prisons Week, encouraging individuals and churches to pray for those who live and work in our nation’s prisons. This year’s Prisons Week runs from Sunday 8th to Saturday 14th October, and we have put together a Prayer Diary to help you pray for Daylight during that week.
The Prayer items for each day will also be available on our PrayerMate feed and Social Media pages, and for the first time this year, we will also have the opportunity to pray together via Zoom on three evenings during that week. The meeting details are available at the top of the Prayer Diary, and if you are able to join us, we would love to see you.
If you would like printed copies of the Prayer Diary sent to you to pass on to your church or others, please get in touch with your postal address and the number of copies you would like sent to you.
Thank you for your prayerful support.
